Paramount Pictures have sent over an exclusive new clip for Captain America: The First Avenger, which opens in Irish cinemas tomorrow. In this clip you get to see a close-up of the patriotic super-soldier in action.

Get you’re first official look at Glenn Close in Albert Nobbs. I think she looks scarily like Robin William’s Bicentennial Man, but that’s probably just me. The movie sees the star as a British woman who is forced to dress as a man in order to land a job as an Irish butler.

Paul Rudd is funny, sadly the posters for his new movie Our Idiot Brother are the wrong funny. They are just getting worse. This latest Photoshop aberration comes courtesy of HitFix and is a lesson in having no single point of focus, floating heads, improbable body angles and all you’ve [...]

As the release date gets closer Rise of the Planet of the Apes is looking more and more impressive. To prove this 20th Century Fox has released a new and final trailer for the film and it’s a real humdinger. Word of caution there’s a few plot spoilers in here.

Seth Gordon famously gave us King of Kong, before blundering spectacularly with the car-crash of a film that was Four Christmases. Now he returns with a brand new comedy in the guise of Horrible Bosses, an adventurous tale of 3 best friends who collectively decide that their respective bosses must [...]

I love the Muppets. I love their rips on other movies. I really love this new poster for The Muppets which as Sam Eagle as Captain America. That’s just genius. The movie follows Walter, the biggest Muppet fan on the planet, attempting to round up the old crew and get them [...]

A new poster for Immortals has appeared over at Yahoo, and it’s not half bad. Similar to the last it focuses on the hero Theseus, with the poster also showing all of the gods who go to war in Tarsem Singh’s forthcoming swords-and-sandals epic.

After getting the first poster yesterday, today we get the first trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming thriller Haywire. It looks pretty damn impressive too.

Steven Soderbergh’s a busy boy. Aside from releasing the viral infection movie Contagion, the director is also bringing out a new thriller called Haywire. And today we get the first poster for the movie, and it’s nice too, a lovely throwback image harking back to the thrillers of the 60s [...]

Yesterday Sony Pictures unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming superhero adventure The Amazing Spider-Man. Today they give us the first teaser poster for Marc Webb’s reboot of the Marvel webslinger. Heavy on the red and blue this is another pitch-perfect teaser following last night’s The Avengers one.
