The Big Lebowski Fancy Dress Party at Light House Cinema

Light House Cinema in Smithfield are delighted to host a Big Lebowski Fancy Dress Party and late night screening of the Coen Brothers classic on Friday 17th January as part of their Inside The Coen Brothers film season.

Fans of the cult phenomenon will get a chance to dress up as their favourite characters from the film, kick back with a White Russian, play a few rounds of bowling (of sorts), try their hand at Pin-The-Tail-On-The-Marmot and top the night off with a late screening of the hilarious Coen Brothers classic on the big screen. There will be a selection of special Lebowski-themed drinks and treats available on the night.

The event forms part of the Inside The Coen Brothers film season which is currently underway at Light House Cinema, a retrospective season covering the most cherished work to date by the Coen Brothers in anticipation of the release of their new film Inside Llewyn Davis on 24th January.

Films still to be shown as part of the season include Fargo, The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou and its accompanying concert film Down From the Mountain as well as a special screening of the Coens’ adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s No Country For Old Men as part of Light House Cinema Book Club. Fans can avail of a special offer to see any three films for €21 when booked at the Light House Cinema box-office.

The Big Lebowski Fancy Dress Party stars at 8.30pm on Friday 17th January at Light House Cinema and is free entry. Tickets for the 10.30pm screening of The Big Lebowski on the night are priced €9 / €7.50 concession.
