Banner emerges for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Disney are busy today, already we’ve had 2 trailers and 4 posters for cars 2, and now we get a new banner poster for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. This marks the fourth outing for Captain Jack Sparrow and crew, and wouldn’t you know it the banner features none other than the main man himself.

The movie is a direct sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and finds Captain Jack Sparrow hunting for the Fountain of Youth.  Of course it’s not going to be an easy task, and when a girl from his past returns he finds himself on the Queen Anne’s Revenge, a nice ship, shame it’s run by Blackbeard.

The film stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Kevin R. McNally, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, and Geoffrey Rush. So lots of talent there. Hopefully it will rekindle the magic of the first one, rather than be as tired as the last two.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides opens in Ireland May 18th, 2 whole days before the US.
