Despicable Me – New Poster

Apparently being good is overrated. At least it is for Steve Carrell in Universal Picture’s and Illumination Entertainment’s new animated comedy adventure Despicable Me.

Carrell stars as Gru, a seriously bad guy who plans on stealing the moon. His fiendish scheming is halted however when he becomes the unexpected guardian of 3 orphaned little girls.

The little yellow guys in the posters are Gru’s minions, the Oompa Loompa’s to his devious Willy Wonka.One thing has me puzzled about the new poster though…why highlight the fact that it’s from the same Executive Producer as a host of other animated features? Surely that’s not going to draw the crowds…

The movie is out October 15th in Ireland and the UK, and I await it with giddy glee.
