Final Destination 5 scares up a trailer

They swore there wouldn’t be any more, they even called the last one The Final Destination, but since that outing made a shed-load of money Final Destination 5 is coming our way. And here’s the first trailer. Thankfully the 5nal Destination name appears to have gone, because that was awful.

Avatar second-unit director Steven Quale is at the helm working from a script by the Nightmare on Elm Street remake writer Eric Hesserier. The action kicks off with the destruction of a suspension bridge and our intrepid bunch of teens narrowing escaping their doom…temporarily.

We have a cast too, but it’s mostly people you’ve never heard who are all going to meet a grisly death at the hand of the grim reaper (at least in the movie), with the likes of Nicholas D’Agosto, Emma Bell, Arlen Escarpeta, Tony Todd and David Koechner.

Final Destination 5, in 3D, is out August 26th.

Synopsis:

In Final Destination 5, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death’s sinister agenda.
