Legend of the Guardians – 3 new TV spots

You know that ever increasing problem with movie titles where the name just keeps getting longer and longer? It’s particularly prevalent amongst franchise films like The Chronicles of Narnia or Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter too is a desperate case. Well it seems Zack Snyder has caught the bug with his new animated movie being titled Legend of the Guardians – The Owls of Ga’hoole. Madness!

I digress, from what we’ve seen of the movie so far it looks stunning and these 3 new TV spots only reinforce that belief. It does run the risk of being too childish, but it’s about owls and everybody likes owls, right?

Based on the first three instalments of the series of books Guardians of Ga’Hoole by Kathryn Lasky, the movie tells the Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father’s epic stories of the Guardians of Ga’ Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones. Turns out that the Pure Ones are back and it is up to Soren to find the Guardians and bring peace to to the land.

The film is out September 24th in the US, and October 15th in the UK and Ireland.
