New trailer for Park Chan-wook’s Stoker

Empire has released a new trailer for Park Chan-wook’s Stoker. It’s less impressive than the ones that have come before, but it still looks absolutely gorgeous.

The film centres on a young girl who encounters her mysterious uncle while mourning the death of her father.

Mia Wasikowska stars, with support from Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode and Dermot Mulroney. Chan-wook is best known for bringing us Oldboy so this has definite potential.

Stoker is released in Ireland on March 1st.

After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
