11 character banners for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Lionsgate has released 11 great character banners for the second film in The Hunger Games, titled The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The film follows on immediately after the first film and sees the newly crowned champions sent on a “Victor’s Tour” of the 12 districts. Meanwhile rebellion is stirring in the land of Pan Em.

Jennifer Lawrence returns as Katniss Everdeen, with Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Willow Shields, and Donald Sutherland also featuring.  I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence takes the reins based of a script from Simon Beaufoy and Michael Arndt.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens in Ireland on November 22nd.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
