Fresh UK trailer Ben Stiller’s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

20th Century Fox has released the UK trailer for the Ben Stiller directed The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. This features lots of new footage, but gives away very little.

The film is a remake of the 1947 film, and sees Stiller star as the aforementioned Walter Mitty, a journalist who cannot cope with the real world and so descends into a fantasy world of his own design. It’s Don Quixote for a modern audience.

Alongside Stiller the cast includes Kristen Wiig, Sean Penn, Adam Scott, Patton Oswalt, and Shirley MacLaine.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is out in Ireland on December 26th.

Ben Stiller directs and stars in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, James Thurber’s classic story of a day-dreamer who escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action. When his job along with that of his co-worker (Kristen Wiig) are threatened, Walter takes action in the real world embarking on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined.
