Icon Film Distribution has released the first UK/Irish trailer for Richard LaGravenese’s new musical The Last Five Years .
The film is based on Jason Robert Brown’s off-Broadway play and tells the story of a five-year relationship between Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hiatt, a struggling actress.
Anna Kendrick plays Cathy, with Jeremy Jordan as Jamie. LaGravenese, who directed P.S. I Love You has adapted the screenplay.
The Last Five Years is out in Ireland next year, with no firm date as of yet.
