Maurice Sweeney’s I, Dolours will have its Irish Premiere on July 13th at the 30th Galway Film Fleadh with an Irish release following on August 31st.
UK documentary festival Sheffield Doc/Fest has unveiled the programme for its 25th edition, which runs from June 7th to 12th. Included in this year's lineup are 4 films from Ireland: The Ballymurphy Precedent, I, Dolours, The Lonely Battle of Thomas Reid, and Lovers of the Night.
Five Irish feature documentaries – Feargal Ward’s The Lonely Battle Of Thomas Reid, Maurice Sweeney’s I, Dolours, David Sington and Heather Walsh’s Mercury 13, Katrina Costello’s The Silver Branch, and Hannah Quinn's Smithy & Dickie will screen at the HotDocs festival in Toronto.
