The first official teaser poster for Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film The Dark Knight Rises has arrived and it’s marvellous. Depicting the Gotham skyline crumbling to reveal the Batman logo it’s an instant homage to the previous posters for the movie and sets the tone perfectly for the new film.
The Dark Knight Rises sees the return of Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman, alongside franchise newcomers Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Marion Cotillard. Hardy and Hathaway are bringing Bane and Selina Kyle to life, with Gordon-Levitt playing a new cop, John Blake and Cotillard an enigmatic femme fatale.
The film is out July 20th, 2012, and promises to be epic.
