Courtesy of HeyUGuys comes the latest poster to enter the Bad-Photoshop Hall of Fame. Namely the UK quad poster for Gabriele Muccino’s Playing for Keeps. Gerard Butler looks severely fake and possibly demented in this image. HUG also provided the new UK trailer for the film too, which is sure to be shown nationwide very soon.
The film sees Butler play a former soccer star who returns home to to reconnect with his son. His efforts are soon fraught with peril as every available “soccer-mom” sets her eyes on him.
The Pursuit of Happyness director Muccino has assembled a heavy-weight rom-com cast with Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Dennis Quaid, and Judy Greer all appearing.
Playing for Keeps opens in the US December 7th, and on our shores December 26th.
Synopsis:
A charming, down-on-his luck former soccer star returns home to put his life back together. Looking for a way to rebuild his relationship with his son, he gets roped into coaching the boy’s soccer team. But his attempts to finally become an “adult” are met with hilarious challenges from the attractive “soccer moms” who pursue him at every turn.
