Number 13, sorry I mean Olivia Wilde, is set to star opposite Daniel Craig in Jon Favreau’s adaptation of the graphic novel Cowboys & Aliens.
The story, which is a sci-fi western, focuses on the unlikely event of aliens landing in the Old West and the reactions of the locals to such an occurrence. Needless to say cowboys like shooting and aren’t to fond of newcomers.
Wilde will play a character named Ella who joins up with the mysterious gun-slinger, played by Craig. More cast and crew are expected to join soon.
Transformers and Star Trek scribes Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are producing and wrote the script with Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof. Hollywood heavyweights Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are all attached in producer roles too, for what should be a real humdinger of a movie.
