Screen Training Ireland has announced that the writers for the LA Writers Room placements have been chosen: Pierce Ryan, Carmel Winters, and Paul Walker.
Principal photography has begun in Luxembourg on new Irish co-production Black '47, from director Lance Daly and starring Hugo Weaving and Moe Dunford.
Three Irish co-productions, Black 47, Muse, and Return to Montauk, will be supported from the latest round of Eurimages funding.
