Event: OIC Media 2nd anniversary shorts @ Light House Cinema

On Monday, January 26th OIC Media will celebrate two years of highlighting the best in Irish short film with an evening of short films at The Light House Cinema, Dublin. All proceeds from this and all OIC Media events will be donated to The Capuchin Day Centre, Bow St, Dublin 7.

Being that this is the second anniversary the guys from OIC Media have a very special night lined up, with props from Star Wars and a Predator making an appearance!

This month’s slate include the premiere of Damian Byrne’s The Nymph, as well as a host of quality Irish short films, including Cut Me Deep, Lean on Me, The Brotherhood, On Record, Goodbye, and Williton’s Way. The night will also feature an untitled film from Stalker director Mark O’Connor.

OIC Media is the brain child of Irish short filmmakers Gerard Walsh and James Fitzgerald. The pair are responsible for some of the most promising low-budget indie shorts and films of the last few years, including A Day Like Today and the multi-award winning Skunky Dog.

Doors for the OIC Media Shorts anniversary night open around 6:30pm. An after-part featuring music from Funzo and Steve Clifford will take place in the Cobblestone Bar following the event.
