Two more posters for Thor

Two more posters for Marvel’s comic-book adaptation Thor have hit the internet. The first follows the recent spate of words over faces posters and depicts Thor with the caption “The god of thunder”. The second is a more traditional superhero poster, a group banner featuring 4 of the main characters from the film.

The story follows Thor, son of the great god Odin and a bit of a hothead. When his reckless actions reignite an ancient war he is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Oh but in his absence Valhalla isn’t safe and he must get get back to his rightful place.

The film is directed by Northern Ireland thesp Kenneth Branagh, with Chris Hemsworth in the starring role as the titular god of thunder. Also along for the ride are Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson and Rene Russo.

Thor is out in Ireland April 29th and in the States on May 6th.
