Irish Film: Irish/Polish co-production 11 Minutes in cinemas December 4th
Jerzy’s Skolimowski’s Irish/Polish co-production 11 Minutes (????) will be released in Ireland on December 4th.
The film stars Richard Dormer (Good Vibrations, ’71, Game of Thrones) in the lead role of an American film director in this suspenseful drama which revolves around the lives and loves of a diverse group of people during the course of the same 11 minute chain of events. 11 Minutes is Skolimowski’s latest feature since 2010’s Essential Killing, which Element PicturesElement Pictures is run by Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe, with offices in Dublin and London, working across production, distribution, and exhibition. To date, the film has premiered at the Venice Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and the London Film Festival and will open the Kinopolis Polish Film Festival in the IFI Dublin on Thursday December 3rd. 11 Minutes recently picked up the Jaeger-LeCoultre award for Best Film at the Estoril Lisbon Film Festival and is Poland’s official entry to be considered for Best Foreign Language film at this year’s Oscars.
