Haywire grabs a poster

Steven Soderbergh’s a busy boy. Aside from releasing the viral infection movie Contagion, the director is also bringing out a new thriller called Haywire. And today we get the first poster for the movie, and it’s nice too, a lovely throwback image harking back to the thrillers of the 60s and 70s.

Filmed in Dublin the movie tells the story of a female covert ops specialist, who works in the deadly world of international operatives. She set’s out to prove her innocence after discovering she’s been double-crossed by someone close to her in the agency.

MMA star Gina Carruso takes the lead, with Irish star Michael Fassbender, Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum, Antonio Banderas, Bill Paxton, and Michael Douglas also featuring. That is one hell of a cast.

Haywire will be released January 20th, 2012.
